Eligibility Statement: DoD Personnel & families - including military members, all Service & Guard, Reserve, military retirees, DoD civilians, NAF personnel & immediate family members. Other uniformed services include US Coast Guard, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, uniformed State Department personnel, Public Health Service personnel & members of units assigned or attached to a US installation.

The A&FRC sponsors a free Loan Locker to provide newly arrived and departing members of Team Scott a place to borrow household items as they await the arrival of their own items.



 

  • Items include: sleeping mats, folding tables and chairs, kitchen items such as cookware, dishes, and small appliances, small TV/DVD combos, and baby items.

 

  • Due to limited availability,sleeping mats and TVs are limited to one per family. Items may be extended beyond 30 days in certain situations, based on availability.

 

  • “In-place” personnel may also utilize the Loan Locker on a space-available basis.

 

  • Loan Locker items may not be used for profit-making ventures such as yard sales. Linens are not available.

 

The Loan Locker is co-located with the A&FRC in building 1650. Reserved parking for Loan Locker patrons is available in the back of the building.

 

  • The Loan Locker is staffed 0700 – 1600 Mon - Fri; please call (618) 256-8668 for assistance beyond these hours (0730-1000 and 1500-1630). The Loan Locker is closed on federal holidays and base down days.
