Falcon Loans

The Falcon Loan is a loan for up to $750 that can be used for emergency needs. Applying for a Falcon Loan is easy: The streamlined application process for a Falcon Loan requires no budget information, backup documentation, or First Sergeant/Commander approval.

What if an Air Force member needs help but isn't near an Air Force Base?

AFAS maintains a cross-servicing agreement with emergency relief organizations of the Army, Coast Guard and Navy/Marine Corps so Air Force people can request help through those offices when no AF facility is relatively close to the member/family.

This same servicing agreement allows for all sister services to receive emergency assistance support at the Scott AFB Airman & Family Readiness Center.  Local Red Cross offices will also provide assistance when there is no military base or post nearby and then will be reimbursed by HQ AFAS.
